lost and found ( for me ? )

notebook ONKYO M513A5P : fly a virtual machine in KVM

This notebook’s CPU is Celeron SU2300 1.2GHz. http://ark.intel.com/products/42779/Intel-Celeron-Processor-SU2300-(1M-Cache-1_20-GHz-800-MHz-FSB)
I checked this CPU supports virtualization technology , but I’m not sure both BIOS and chip set support VT or not , because there are no VT settings in BIOS. ( BIOS Revision R2.00 101525 )
So I gave it a shot and could fly a VM :)

Host OS is Ubuntu 11:04 32bit and VM is also ubuntu 11.04 I built with vmbuilder.
root@hat2:~# tail -1 /etc/lsb-release
DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu 11.04"

root@hat2:~# uname -r
2.6.38-10-generic

root@hat2:~# kvm --version
QEMU emulator version 0.14.0 (qemu-kvm-0.14.0), Copyright (c) 2003-2008 Fabrice Bellard

VM is running !

thank you for dropping by !
